Lynea Lattanzio is not a normal cat lady. For one thing, she has 700 cats. For another, she’s taken her love of cats and channeled it toward something amazing: The Cat House on the Kings.
Located near Fresno, California, the Cat House on the Kings is a cageless, no-kill animal sanctuary where cats (and dogs!) run free. It’s an amazing and wonderful thing to see:
Lynea’s mom wouldn’t let her have a kitten when she was younger, and now she has 700. If my dad hadn’t gone behind my back when I was 12 and gotten us a kitten, who knows where I’d be today.
