Tonight I came upon a very strange article from the Times of India. According to the reporter, a cat attacked three people in East Nagpur. After biting, the cat retreated under a piece of furniture, and no one could get it out. The two oddest things about this article are:
1. It does not address whether or not the cat may have had rabies.
2. The following: “Someone suggested getting a dog’s help to scare the cat. Accordingly, Gourkar brought his doberman but the cat was unrelenting and gave the dog a tough fight. Nevertheless, the doberman managed to inflict injuries on the feline near the ears and face. Some residents took advantage of this and covered the cat with a large utensil.”
A large utensil? A cat terrified three grown-ups and then they covered it with a big spoon? I am very sad that there is no photo accompanying this article.
