Ladies and gentlemen, the Rock Cats:

Part of Samantha Martin’s cat circus, these cats performed recently in Iowa City. In addition to making beautiful music together, the cats also pushed balls and did jumping tricks. But they do it all on their own time. As Martin says, “”I gave up on making this a serious show two years ago when we bombed in Branson. I let the cats control the show.”

Lest you think Martin is just a crazy cat lady, she’s got a degree in animal husbandry and is fully licensed and insured. And after seeing the below video on YouTube, I have to say I’m DYING to see the cats in action.

look at that face

In the midst of an article about a lovely Chicago family who takes in strays was this photo. What on earth could make a cat look like that? According to the article, it’s inbreeding, which makes looking at her almost more bizarre. If there was ever a reason to prevent cat incest . . .
